Echelon Shift is the first step in the evolution of what we like to call anti-politics.
We operate a little differently than other companies... specifically because we are sort of an anti-company. We operate as seamlessly as possible with other corporations, and even make our customers feel like they are in the same corporate environment that they are conditioned to yearn for. From purchasing one of our products to the checkout and even the jolly "Thank you for ordering!" page, you will feel like you're in safe professional hands.
This farce is quite necessary. We realize this. Even we, the developers and operators of Echelon Shift have been taught to feel uncomfortable in less than corporate environments. We've grown to yearn it just like you do.
However, unlike other companies, the driving force behind this creation is information distribution, not a yacht. All of the people managing Echelon Shift are intelligent and driven individuals who strive to offset the geyser of false information that is pulsating through every vein in modern society. So, we dedicate our profits towards expansion rather than consumption.
From serious topics such as the War in Iraq, Christianity and Gay Rights to social constructs such as expected tipping and imposed fashion requirements, we're ever expanding in creating really cool looking shirts that use our (socially constructed) need to look sharp to help make the world just a little bit clearer.
We all want to be philanthropic. We all get that humanitarian feel good jolt of love when we help someone else. And in the end, the only sure and effective manner to help anyone is to share real information with them. Our brains use true information in ways we could never consciously comprehend. By wearing a peace shirt we can unknowingly create a chain reaction that could save someone's life. To inform people with true information, we, ourselves, must be well informed.
This is why we keep adding highly unbiased articles and informational links to many of our products. We want you to know more about something before you buy it, so when you walk around with a statement on your chest you know exactly what part of you it is expressing.
